Mobile Horse Stables Construction and Features
Our mobile stables are made using the same durable, pressure-treated timber we use for our static stables and are built to last. The framing is sturdy 3” x 2” with shiplap cladding and the skids are either timber or can be upgraded to galvanised steel. The following are standard features of our mobile stables:
Timber or metal skids and a fitted towing chain
A canopy to the front with guttering and a downpipe
Black onduline roofing as standard with alternatives available
Shiplap cladding to the exterior
Roof underboarding
Internal kickboard lining to 1.2m high
Anti-chew strips to doors and openings
Mobile Stables Size and Layout
We can make mobile stables in single, double or triple stable block configurations to suit any needs.
You can also customise your layout by combining stable boxes with a tack room, hay store or feed room — for example, a double mobile stable with tack room, or a single stable with both hay storage and tack facilities. Additional windows can be added on request, and we can even integrate a mobile stable with a field shelter to create a fully self-contained unit.

Please note: triple mobile stable blocks and combinations of similar size have to be built on metal skids due to their ability to flex and their weight
